       The caterpillar evolves because it is in her nature to do so. She is not chained to her past. As she evolves from Larva to Pupa to Butterfly, she leaves her past behind—she makes her old self obsolete. She is able to survive while focusing on evolving. She builds her own future and is not satisfied with just enhancing her day to day performance (e.g. eating, crawling, etc.). You must not leave change to chance.
